STDC Series
Stainless steel 303/304, 1–5 L, up to 6.9 bar at 90 °C.
The STDC Series is built for fluids that are handled warm. Rated to 6.9 bar at 90 °C and to full vacuum from 4 to 90 °C, these compact stainless steel pressure vessels keep a temperature-sensitive material sealed and under control while it is dispensed.
Operating envelope
A standard compact stainless vessel is rated at 38 °C. The STDC Series keeps the same pressure rating up to 90 °C, and holds full vacuum across its whole range.

Why temperature matters
Temperature, like pressure, changes a fluid's viscosity and flow rate. A drift of a few degrees can disrupt production — particularly with temperature-sensitive materials such as UV adhesives, epoxies and other thixotropic fluids.

Heating & cooling pressure vessel FAQ
Because temperature changes how a fluid flows. Viscosity and flow rate shift with just a few degrees, so a temperature-sensitive material — a UV adhesive, an epoxy or another thixotropic fluid — dispenses differently as it warms or cools. Holding it at a stable process temperature keeps every shot consistent and avoids stoppages on the line.
STDC vessels are rated for a working pressure of 0 to 6.9 bar at 90 °C, and for vacuum down to −1 bar between 4 and 90 °C. If your process runs outside that window, send us the details and our engineers will confirm the right configuration.
It depends on the vessel's temperature rating, not only on the heat source. Standard compact ST vessels are rated at 38 °C and should not be run hotter, which is why the STDC Series is rated to 90 °C from the start. Send us your vessel model and target process temperature, and our engineers will confirm whether it can be used or whether an STDC vessel is the right choice.
