As a Design Engineer Apprentice you’ll get hands-on with real projects! You’ll support project coordination and delivery in a live industry setting, working alongside a supportive team that’s committed to helping you grow your skills and knowledge every step of the way.

What you'll do at work

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

Join our dynamic team and play a key role in supporting the design and delivery of engineering projects.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and maintain accurate 3D models using CAD or equivalent software
  • Create detailed General Arrangement (GA) drawings
  • Assist in preparing technical documentation, including assembly instructions
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant industry standards and regulations
  • Support project delivery through coordination and collaboration with internal teams
  • Help maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers

Other requirements

Annual Leave Allowance is 20 days plus Bank Holidays. Having a full driving license is considered to be an advantage as you will need to commute to the workplace.
